Basic Factors
From UpdateNet English
The six relevant learning factors are imbedded in the four basic factors. It is about approach and attitude – towards ourselves, others and things.

Basic factor 1: Idea of man
No child gets up in the morning and says: ‘today I’m going to let my marks slide.’ Students want to learn, they want to be ‘good’ and an acknowledged part of the community. That demands faith and appreciation.
Basic factor 2: Role understanding
People live the roles they have given themselves or they have been assigned to. The encouragement of self designing competencies demands for help to self help. Fewer students, more learning entrepreneurs here and more coach and advisor there.
Basic factor 3: Learn understanding
Students construct their own world. They learn – regardless of their background – by themselves in a never ending cycle. This doesn’t happen by chance or accident. School learning must be experienced as successful and relevant.
Basic factor 4: Function Understanding
the function determines the form. An individual competence development requires custom tailored programs. The goal is for scholastic and personal success for all students. Not ‘graduability’ but connectivity, in relevant life situations.
